Material selection

Furniture for commercial interiors should have specific characteristics. It should be durable and heavy-duty. Therefore, it has to be made with resistant and fireproof materials. All our contract products, gathered in the TRACKS collection, meet technical requirements that allow long-term use in public spaces such as bars, hotels, discos, ships, restaurants or pubs. Our forty years of experience in the field of upholstered furniture and fifteen years in the contract and Horeca sectors, make us able to produce any type of upholstered seating either using our standard products, or creating custom and tailor made ones according to our clients’ designs.
We research the best contract fireproof materials available on the market for each project, taking care of every detail. Working in constant contact and close cooperation with our clients is a priority for us.

Every space acquires its own character thanks to the shapes and colors of its furnishings. They are the distinct element that creates special atmospheres and flair. As we are aware of its relevance, which is not secondary to the technical characteristics of the products, our Style office offers our partners a large archive of fireproof technical fabrics specifically made for the contract sector. We offer a wide selection of fireproof velvets and chenille, technical fabrics with light or structured textures, wools, faux leathers or genuine fireproof leathers, Trevira CS yarns or FR synthetic fibers, color palettes and patterns suitable for different styles and different types of use. Research is our strength, and if the fabrics in our archive are not enough, we perform custom researches.

Fireproof certifications

Each country has different laws governing the use of fireproof materials in public places. The materials affected by fire retardant regulations are polyurethane and upholstery. The most commonly requested standards are: class 1IM (UNI 9175), EN-1021 1 + 2, BS 5852 IS CRIB 5, TB 117: 2013, M1, IMO. For each product we supply as standard the certification 1IM valid for Italy, and, upon request, the certifications requested abroad, researching ad hoc solutions for more complex approval procedures required for large accommodation facilities.
